Blistering Cold, Glistening Snow

Oh yeah the name of this polish reminds of the lyrics in Stan, the old Eminem song featuring Dido (remember that?) Glistening Snow rhymed with blistering cold… so there!

GS is from China Glaze’s 2012 Holiday Collection and it is beautiful & opaque in 2 coats! It’s jam packed with silver holographic micro glitter and dries to a pretty gritty finish, but I fixed it with 2 thick coats of Seche Vite and voila – nails so bright they sparkle at every angle!

The shot above was taken with indoor lighting and flash, and I’d literally just applied the topcoat over so it’s extra glossy, but the glossiness is of course overpowered by the sheer bling power of GS – I mean, are you kidding me? Look at that!

And this was taken under my table lamp – my nail lengths are blatantly uneven, not sure if that’s a faux pas but my fingers aren’t scrunched like this all the time so it’s barely noticeable IRL (read: in real life)

Again with flash – I also bought GS’s cousin Champagne Kisses, which is a rose gold toned version but doesn’t seem to be holographic from the bottle. Look out for that one! In the mean time I just want to thank all my readers for being so supportive and awesome and I wish all you guys a great week ahead! Enjoy the holidays! ❤
